We invited the U.S. Senate to the most important wedding event of the season: the vote to codify marriage equality. The invitation urged the Senate to consider how their vote would affect not just the ability of same-sex and interracial couples to get married but the ability to experience the financial, medical, familial, and emotional benefits of marriage.
